Pulitzer Prize-winning author and New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman will be the keynote speaker at
BookExpo America (”BEA”).

Friedman, whose books include the million-selling The World is Flat, will be promoting his new work, Green is the New Red, White and Blue, an environmentally themed work coming out in August.



BookExpo event director Lance Fensterman said Wednesday he was “especially pleased and proud to have been able to secure him for this book, and for this keynote event. Thomas Friedman’s message not only dovetails nicely

with our own programming, but it promises to be a definitive ‘call to arms’ for how we manage our environment in the future.”
